Best of this week's Meijer Deals!

A freebie I cashed in on yesterday at Meijers was the Country Crock Spreadable Butter - 15 oz tub, Calcium-D brand. (The one with the blue lid) They are part of the 10/$10 deal and I bought 2, used 2 of the .55/1 printable here and also used the 1.00/2 Country Crock Meijer Mealbox coupons. Not only were they both free - it gave me .10 in overage and got me 2 items closer to my 11th item free! Not bad. Will definitely be going back for more, if I can scare up enough coupons.

Also a cheapie is the King's Hawaiin Rolls 4pack - they are also part of the 10/$10 deal. Use the .75/1 coupon from Coupons.com and get each for just .25. I hear these rolls are yummy, so I'm looking forward to trying them.

Another great deal is the TacoBell dinner kits. They are on sale 3/$5. There is a $1.00/1 coupon in the ALL YOU magazine and a printable here. (If you don't find it, try typing in 32801 for the zip code!) That makes the dinner kit just .67! (Remember - Smart Source coupons print best in Firefox!)

If you got the paper last week, there were a bunch of Lysol coupons. Lysol is on 1/2 price sale this week, and there is a $1.00/4 Meijer Mealbox coupon you can stack with the others. I'm thinking pretty cheap cleaning products!

Select Kellogg's cereals are on sale for $2.50. There were also some $1.00 Kellogg's coupons in the paper this week as well. Meijer is running a deal, where if you buy 4 boxes of Kelloggs cereal, you'll get $3.00 instantly off your order. Be sure to check which cereals apply for this deal and you'll be able to get a box of cereal for right around .75!

There is also a deal where if you buy 5 participating P&G items over 3.00, you can get a FREE $10.00 Meijer gift card. If I didn't have a whole host of shaving cream from Wags last month, this is what I would do. I would order 10 Gillette Hydrafusion Shaving Gel $1.00/1 coupons from Dede, and then purchase 5 Hydrafusions at 3.49 a piece, use 5 $1.00/1 coupons to bring the total down to $2.49 a piece to get an OOP total of 13.53. You'll get a $10 Meijer Card to use on your groceries, so it's like paying $3.53 for 5 shaving gels! I'd probably do this deal twice to stock up. There are other items with coupon matchups from last week's paper that would work as well, but the shaving gel is the best value, with the least OOP, as far as I can tell. You can view the ad at Meijer.com. It's at the back of the bigger, general merchandise ad.

Also a MAJOR score I found yesterday were the McCain's Waffle Fries. I had read on HCW, that some were finding them clearanced to just .64 a bag! Not the Smileys, but the waffle fries. So, I decided to check it out and there they were! I grabbed the 4 that were left, because that's an awesome deal! I'm going to check back later this week to see if they restocked at all. It would've been even sweeter if I'd had the $1.00/2 coupon that's out there, but I don't. Bah. Ah, well - .64 is still a pretty sweet deal in my book!

AND! Don't forget to use the Meijer Mealbox Generator at Hot Coupon World to print out your Mealbox coupons! It saves TONS of paper! I have the link saved to my favorites on my browser!

  1. Wow we are a lot alike! I really like when I stumble across another working mom’s blog, seems like about 98% of them I read are SAHM’s!
So about my toddler’s eating, oh I could write a novel on her! She is extremely picky and will not eat anything I make for dinner. Her dinner’s consist of nothing but mac n cheese, mini cheese ravioli, grilled cheese, and if she is having a good night frozen chicken nuggets. Luckily she eats a lot of fruit and loves yogurt so even with her limited choices she still eats very healthy. I am working on vegetables, she will eat baby carrots cut into circles (told you she is picky!) and she ate corn on the cob on night but had a lot of trouble getting it off so the next night I made canned corn and she wouldn’t touch it! IDK about her! My little one will be 6 months old next week and she eats like a champ! She loves all flavors of baby food and stares at us when we eat, I have hope for her that she will be a good eater!
As far as dinnertime goes, I get off work at 4pm so I have dinner done by 5 usually so DH and I eat earlier by ourselves. Lily does better eating later so around 6:30 I give her dinner and I also feed Reagan at that time so we are all around the table except Daddy (this is when he gets his TV time!) Sorry for the long post, I could go on and on about this subject!
