Well - it was definitely worth all the effort! We are $400 richer that was pretty much the goal I had set for our endeavor. We started out with the other 50 dollars of our usual grocery budget from last week as our cash drawer to make change with and we had contemplated maybe taking the leftovers to a different location next weekend to see if we couldn't sell some more. But - garage sales are a TON of work! We were wiped out. So tired! So, I told Hubs if we had 450 in our drawer at the end of the day, we'll call it quits, pack everything else up and take it to Goodwill. And we did! Came in at 457.70, net profit of 407.70. So, now we'll see if we can't sell our current television to put in our Flat Screen Fund. Paying cash for stuff rocks, baby!
I told Hubs if we weren't able to sell it - all is well, we have the grocery budget we aren't using next week!
